ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE. In Zhang v. The Individuals, Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, Partnerships, and Unincorporated Associations Identified on Schedule A, Case No. 26-cv-20013 (S.D. Fla. May 20, 2026) (the "Prior Case"), the Court dismissed a similar case against the same Defendants sued here for lack of personal jurisdiction. A court may sua sponte raise the issue of personal jurisdiction but may not dismiss on such grounds "without first giving the parties an opportunity to present their views on the issue." Lipofsky v. New York State Workers Comp. Bd., 861 F.2d 1257, 1258 (11th Cir. 1988). Accordingly, it is ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that, by November 6, 2026, Plaintiff shall file a brief advising the Court how its assertion of personal jurisdiction over the Defendants in this case differs from the grounds for personal jurisdiction asserted and rejected in the Prior Case. Signed by Judge Beth Bloom
