Plaintiff's motion to strike certain Defendants' filings, or, in the alternative, for an extension of time to reply 46 is granted in part as follows. The Court notes that Defendants that have filed responses to Plaintiff's motion for a preliminary injunction have not complied with Fed. R. Civ. P. 11(a). That rule requires every paper filed with the Court to be signed by "at least one attorney of record in the attorney's nameor by a party personally if the party is unrepresented." Fed. R. Crim. P. 11(a). The filing also "must state the signer's address, e-mail address, and telephone number." Id. A filing that does not comply with this rule must be stricken unless the omission is promptly corrected after being called to the attorney's or party's attention. Id. Accordingly, the Court directs any Defendant wishing to oppose Plaintiff's preliminary injunction motion to come into compliance with Rule 11 by submitting an amended response to the preliminary injunction motion that includes the name of the person signing the document, as well as the signer's address, email address, and phone number. To be clear, it is not sufficient for the Defendant to state the name of the webstore named in the complaint; the name of the person signing on behalf of the webstore must be included. Furthermore, any amended response to Plaintiff's preliminary injunction motion must state whether the Defendant webstore is a sole proprietorship, a corporation, a partnership or some other form of business entity.
