MINUTE entry before the Honorable Joan B. Gottschall: Plaintiff's motion for entry of default judgment 33 is denied without prejudice. Rule 65(d)(2)(C) requires that every injunction "describe in reasonable detail... the act or acts restrained;" a conclusory reference to the "infringing product" does not satisfy this requirement. See generally TiVo Inc. v. EchoStar Corp., 646 F.3d 869, 885-88 (Fed. Cir. 2011). Since referring to another pleading is not permitted, plaintiff can perhaps attach to the injunction order pictures of the infringing products or, alternatively, describe the infringing products with adequate specificity. Plaintiff is instructed to file a revised proposed default judgment on or before July 10, 2025.
