Gottschall: In its notice of affiliates 10, plaintiff states that it is a limited liability company with no parent corporation and no "publicly held corporation" owns 5% or more of its stock. Local Rule 3.2(a)'s definition of "affiliate" requires disclosure of all individuals and entities holding a qualifying ownership interest regardless of whether the interest is publicly or privately held. Plaintiff is instructed to file an amended notice of affiliates by and including February 20, 2026, identifying any additional affiliates required by Local Rule 3.2.Mailed notice

MINUTE entry before the Honorable Joan B. Gottschall: Plaintiff is ordered to file its Notice of Affiliates in compliance with Local Rule 3.2 within seven days. Plaintiff is further advised that the court cannot maintain a seal on any documents unless a motion to seal has been granted. The seal on document 2 will be maintained for seven days to give plaintiff time to file a motion to seal. Further, plaintiff is ordered to show cause by and including February 20, 2026, why joinder is permissible in this case under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 20(a)(2) and Bailie v. Schedule A Defendants, 734 F. Supp. 3d 798 (N.D. Ill. 2024). Plaintiff must make a specific showing as to each defendant it argues is properly joined. This means that if plaintiff relies on evidence such as screenshots of defendants' online stores, plaintiff must cite the page(s) in the record supporting its position as to each defendant.Mailed notice
